Bones crack under the gravity of life;
Pressed upon and weighed down, one cannot
Breath — kindness and hope
Becoming harshness and despair.
Unconstrained hardships;
No pillows for the poor,
No blankets for the cold,
Hunger pains, and no pills for the ills.
Bones crack under the gravity of life,
Beyond security of tall towers;
Beyond concern of powers
Nested in a cloak of bills.
No allowance for virtue,
As hypocrites hold the reigns
Of social norms and public forums —
Harbingers of the profoundest death;
Struggles, in their many ways, let
Bones crack under the gravity of life.
